VACANCY: Guitar Sprayer/Finisher
SPRAYER FINISHER REQUIRED

JOB SUMMARY:
Hand spraying of guitar bodies and necks to company standard. Finish sanding, buffing and polishing of parts to company standard and maintenance of paint equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Surface preparation of wood ready for paint application

Grain filling and sealing of wood surfaces
-
Colour spraying Clear Coat Spraying Metallic/Flake spraying Logo/decal application

Detailing taping lines and masking of guitar parts Sanding and buffing of finished guitars

Spray equipment and booth maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Previous experience of sanding/buffing/polishing of polyurethane and polyester resin clear coated finishes

Mixing and spraying of polyurethane and polyester finishes
-
Paint equipment cleaning Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HVLP painting techniques

Previous experience of surface preparation and painting of guitars or related industries e.g. automotive or cabinet making
-
Have an ability to follow instructions and maintain monthly output goals.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Candidate should be familiar with a professional spraying environment and must also be familiar with the required safety practises of such an environment.
